Norway trip - Day 3

(Geiranger fjord)

Day 3 - The weather sucked, we missed some potentially brilliant views because of fog, but fortunately the visibility improved during the day.

Trollstigen
Sleepy in the morning.

Troll's path - definitely in the top 10 when it's sunny.

Dave (bottom-right) was confused from all the zig-zag roads.

On the ferry.

Dalsnibba
Dalsnibba viewpoint (1500m above the sea level) is accessible by car, and provides a great 360° panoramatic view of the area - usually.

Spectacular.

River rapids

Camping ground
When choosing the place to sleep, we became quite demanding, but this place had it all - far from the road, close to the mountains, no wind, waterfall above, flat place for tents.. The only complication came with a herd of cows marching over our place for tents! We jumped to the car (I was the first one in), let them walk away and then rather moved hundred metres further:).

Setting up tents.

'Holy cow!'
