Nature camp 2-3/6 - one of a few school-organized trips that I attended..
We slept in these military tents.. Well we were supposed to, see later.
!st activity of the day: Horse riding for the first time in my life.. Fortunately the horses were very mild and they basicly didn't need any orders to go the right direction.. But already after few minutes of galloping my butt wanted to take a break!
2nd activity: Canoeing on the river/lake - even though we went through standing water, some crews still managed to flip over.
3rd activity: Team games - heaps of fun, mate^^!
Left!-Right! Left!-Right! ... Carls!-Berg! Carls!-Berg!
4th activity: Barbeque
Delicious..
After playing touch-rugby again and singing near the fire most people went to sleep to the tents.. Somehow, the temperature during the night dropped close to freezing, so when I woke up frozen around 4 o'clock and couldn't sleep any more, I decided to go out for a walk to warm myself up.. I realized most people are gone from the tent, there were 3 separate fire places occupied by other students, some of them sleeping near the fire to get some heat, some just staying awake all the night, some canoeing on the lake!! So I warmed my fantastic sleeping bag from 1960's and went to try to sleep again:) The sun was already out by that time..
