Czech visitors #2 - Göteborg trip

I just realized I somehow forgot to upload one trip at the beginning of May, so let's go back in time.. I went back to Czech Republic at the end of April to play the Floorball 4 Nations Cup in Brno. Unfortunately I didn't have enough time to stay longer because of school so I only spent several hectic hours at home in Prague:/. Right after I returned back to Jönköping, I had the pleasure to welcome another 5 Czech visitors, this time some of my ex-classmates from the gymnasium. Here we are:

From the left: Úd, Berta, Hamík, Kchoule, me and Kádel.

The idea of travelling and having fun with my friends was great, it had only two weak points: First I had compulsory lectures and presentations during that time and second there was no place in their car for 6th person (not even in the trunk).

So I only joined them on one-day trip to Göteborg. I took the crazy early morning (=cheaper) bus and waited till my friends woke up and drove there from Jönköping. We bought the 1-day Göteborg Pass and started exploring!

Universeum
This is where we spent much more time than we planned, Universeum was really huge and interesting. It is a kind of amusement building that consist of several different exhibitions - for example the Ocean Zone, the rainforest, scientific Explora and others. I guess you still have no idea what I'm talking about so I'll rather post some pictures.

The Ocean Zone: Imagine the biggest crab you can think of - this one is definitely bigger!! It followed me in my dreams the next night!

Ray (Sea devil) (Rejnok) - it was allowed to touch him!

Nemo and Dory!!! Lovely..

Sharks!! Less lovely.

Rainforest.

Explora.

Guess who won the race O:-).

Souvenir shop. / Toilets.

Relax in the park
In the afternoon, we moved on first to Burger King (no cheesecake there either) and then to relax in the park.

Paddan boats
The last attraction I managed was the famous boat trip through the Göteborg canal, I had to catch the bus back to JKG - Czechs stayed and visited Liseberg Amusement Park..

Even though we came late, there were exactly 6 great seats left at the very front of the boat. Only later on we realized there was a reason why they were free - we were used as the shield for others against the waves when we got the the more open sea.

Our tour guide. She was a nice foreground for our pictures.

Looking under the skirt..

When we approached this bridge, the guide just said 'watch out, you will have to crouch a bit, it's gonna be close'. We didn't know she meant THIS close!

Open sea (kind of open, kind of bay..)

Boats for repairing boats.

Another hairdresser bridge.

Sauna
It was a great day, when the Czechs arrived we finished it off with pleasant sauna.

Berto, Hamiku, Ude, Kchoule, Kadel, thank you for coming! I hope you liked your stay! Also thanks for all the food and alcohol you left here to me (intentionally or not):)!!
