Day 2
The next morning we finally reached the west coast..
Fiskebäckskil
First we chose to visit one of the small villages, mainly because of it's nice sounding name.

Romantic candy shop in a typical Swedish cottage.

Smögen

A little fishing village called Smögen was supposed to be the highlight of our trip. Firstly, because it was also in the TOP 10, but more importantly, because the fishermen were supposed to use fork-lift stackers to transport caught fish from the boat to fish shops. Yes, you read correctly, magnificent fork-lift stackers! Unfortunately I created too high expectations within our group and the fork-lift stackers never appeared:(. Nevertheless, the village and the coast itself were soo nice!

Fresh fish market.

Tanum rock carvings
Yes, Tanum ancient carvings from Bronze ages are also in the TOP 10.

Camp 2
After Tanum, we went towards Vänern lake and drove along the lake as far as we could to reach a camp. After getting lost in the map at night we miraculously found the camp that was supposed to be somewhere else.. We were 10 people, so we took 2 cabins for 4 people each (a Czech-style of tourism). Later at night, 2 Finnish 150-kg-each strongly smelling fishermen came for a visit and obviously wanted to socialize.. They wanted to be talkative but unfortunately their English was a little barrier.. We offered them a beer (a mistake), it took us 30 minutes to make them leave.. Uff.. After another half an hour, they brought their friends so 4 Finnish 150-kg-each strongly smelling fishermen came for a visit! You can imagine 10 people + 4 double-sized 150-kg-each strongly smelling fishermen in one cabin.. At least they gave us a bottle of delicious wild-berry Koskenkorva (strongly smelling like fish as well).
It was tight in there.

"Can you help him??" / What a smell..

Day 3
There was one place of interest left on our way home. In Skara, there was an Easter Parade. We didn't know much about it in advance, we realized it was only meant for children and their parents so we looked little odd among the kids in the parade..
Leaving the camp on the Vänern lake, Finnish fishermen were still sleeping..

Skara: Sotisficated fishing game for children.

On the Vättern shore close to Jönköping.

That's it!
